5-7 Division
BENTLEY PENN
GOLD AWARD WINNER
From Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. He’s 6 years old and a grade 1 student at St. Anne School. He began learning piano at the age of five. He always sees his mother playing the piano and he has developed a natural passion for it as well. He enjoys playing duets with his mother and other beautiful music. In 2019, he performed at the music festival multi culture concert and award ceremony recital. His confidence on the stage is amazing and he enjoys getting feedback from audience and judges. Playing in Carnegie Hall would be a dream come true for him.
OWEN GREENE
SILVER AWARD WINNER
Owen is an 7 year old boy and began studying piano at the age of 6. He loves science, swimming, plays soccer and tennis. In the future, he wants to be a garbage truck driver.

JODI BRIELLE BROWN
GOLD AWARD WINNER
Jodi has been playing the piano and violin since the age of 5. She is the winner of the Great Composers Competition - Best Bach Performance for Age Group 1, 2020. She is a member of the Young Mozarts Orchestra, and an RCM Certificate of Excellence recipient for Preparatory B piano. She also loves to dance and cook.
LOUISA MARIE CORDES
SILVER AWARD WINNER
Louisa began playing the violin in March 2016 in the Suzuki class of Isabel Morey Suau in Kiel, Germany. In 2018 she changed to the class of Ralf Kröger. Louisa played a few regional competitions and won them all with awards. Since October 2019 Louisa is a member of the YARO (Young Academy Rostock) network at the HTM Rostock in the violin class of Professor Christiane Hutcap.

From Bothell, WA, 9-year-old Ethan Huang is passionate about playing the piano. He started learning piano at the age of 6 when he was a kindergartner. He loves to play video games, read books, and play piano in his free time.
MATTHEW CHUA
HONORABLE MENTION
Matthew is 8 years old. He started taking piano lesson from Ms. Rinna Mai about 1 1/2 years ago. Earlier this year, he also took a masterclass with renown pianist and teacher Dr Ross Salvosa.

My name is Ada. I was born on March 27th, 2012 in Indiana State. When I was 6 years old, I started to learn how to play piano.I love playing piano. I always wish I could play piano in front of the audience. This is my first competition. Thank you for your help.

KRISZTINA NAGY
JURY DISTINCTION AWARD
My name is Nagy Krisztina. I am 13 years old. I am a student of Liszt Ferenc Music Academy Budapest since 2019 September, class of special talented under 18 years old children. I am playing on piano for 8 years now. The first 7 years, I studied piano in Romania. I participated to many local, national and international piano competitions, the most important are Merci Maestro in Bruxelles -where I won first prize, Virtuozok- Talent Show for classical music.
JOSHUA THAI
GOLD AWARD WINNER
Joshua Thai is 14 years old and has been playing violin since he was 8. He made his orchestral debut at age 11 with the Arizona Symphonic Winds under the baton of Laszlo Veres. He has been the first prize winner of the concerto competition at Rocky Ridge Music Center in 2018 and 2019. In 2020 he won 1st place at the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra young artists competition and will perform with them in November. Joshua has studied violin with Wynne Wong Rife and David Rife and spent the summer of 2019 at the HeifetzPEG institute under the instruction of Bela Horvath.
KATELYN LEE

Katelyn Lee who is 8th grader in Achieve Charter Academy. She learns piano since she was 4 and she loves all kind of music. She plays the flute and sings well.
ANTHEA MASCARENHAS DIAS
SILVER AWARD WINNER
At 8, first public concert with HAYDN VIOLIN CONCERTO IN G.
At 11, played The MOZART G MAJOR VIOLIN CONCERTO for International masterclass.
Attended Workshops in Singapore.
Holds an ASSOCIATE OF TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC LONDON with Distinction.
Invited as SPEAKER/PERFORMER at TEDxICT MUMBAI and many more events in India.
Played in Collaborative Youth Orchestras also as a soloist.
Virtuoso repertoire includes Zigeunerweisen by SARASATE, Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso by Saint-Saëns among others.

I first started playing violin at nine years old after falling in love with its sound. I joined a youth orchestra, California Youth Symphony (CYS), when I was ten and I lead our Associate Orchestra as concertmaster now. I was also a student of the Pre-College Division in the San Francisco Conservatory for a year, the summer of which I also attended my first overnight summer camp, BUTI. Both were experiences that heightened my love of music; for once, I was surrounded by people who loved music just as much as me!

Isabel began studying piano at 5. She loves to dance and play golf.

BRONZE AWARD WINNER
I am Ashmit and 12 years old. I live in Milton, Ontario. I am playing Piano since I was 41/2 years old. I love to play Piano, flute and guitar and love to perform in front of audience. I am a 2 times Royal Conservatory of Music Provincial Gold Medalist (2017 and 2019) for achieving highest marks in Ontario in Piano examination. I love to participate in many music festivals. I also play flute and guitar. I enjoy playing different musical instruments, like Recorder, Ukulele and Djembe.

Yunhan began studying piano at age of 6. She also plays basketball and studies Taekwondo.

Meiling Mathur, 14, has studied violin in Minnesota for five years with Dr. Bacco Liu and Aaron Janse. She has been a member of the audition-only Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies for the past four years and the state-wide Minnesota Middle-Level Honors Orchestra for the past three. In addition to routinely being selected as Concertmaster and section leader for numerous ensembles, she made her debut last July with the internationally-acclaimed Gemini Piano Trio in Maryland.
AIDAN CHANG

Aidan is a music lover, he began his piano learning journey at age of four and started participating in piano competitions at age of seven. His achievement includes five first places and outstanding achievement awards in several local music competitions for three consecutive years. Currently, he is a grade six student living in Toronto, Canada. In addition to his passion in piano, he is learning a new instrument- Cello. In his spare time, he also loves playing basketball, biking and snowboarding.
