Caden Chau, piano

Caden Chau, a 14-year-old from Bellevue, Washington, discovered his passion for music at an early age. He began playing the piano at the age of 6 under the guidance of Dr. Li-Cheng Anna Hung. Over the years, Caden has competed in numerous local, national, and international competitions. In 2023, he secured 3rd prize in the American Protégé International Music Competition for Young Talents, earning an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall's Weil Recital Hall in New York City for his debut performance. In 2024, through the American Protégé International Romantic Music Competition, he was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall for the second consecutive year. In 2025, Caden was selected as one of the musicians to perform at the Progressive Musicians - Laureate and Prize Gala at Carnegie Hall, marking his third consecutive year performing at this prestigious venue.

Caden has also showcased his talent at events such as the Seattle Young Artist Music Festival, Performing Arts of the Eastside, the Bach Festival, and the Virtuoso Festival, where he received distinguished honors. Since 2020, he has been learning the violin and is currently a member of his school orchestra. Caden aspires to become a professional pianist in the future.
