Terrence "Ray Boy" Nelson is a multifaceted producer, musician, and arranger. As a producer, he has lent his talents on albums for numerous up-and-coming artists as well as established artists in the music industry. As a musician, he is well versed not only on the keys, but also on the drums, bass, and percussions. With the ability to play and produce any style of music, his diversity is displayed in each record showing his innovativeness, ingenuity, and ability to capture the vibe and mood of the moment. This has garnered him the opportunity to produce music for artists locally and abroad, even as far as Tel Aviv, Israel.

He is widely recognized for his tenure as the resident keyboardist and bassist for Notorious, the house band for BET's 106 & Park. He holds many endorsements and industry memberships including iStandard Producers, Urban Network, and ASCAP. In addition, Terrence willingly shares his talents with others by teaching music students the fundamentals of music, while remaining humble enough to continuously learn from veterans and newcomers alilw.

Currently, Terrence is on a mission to spread hope and love to the world through "The RayTerry Project," an eclectic composition of work that he has written, produced and performed. This album is the perfect balance of harmonious melodies and thought­ provoking lyrics straight from his heart; proving he is not simply an artist, but in fact a "HEARTist," which is a title bestowed to him by his supporters.

In addition to playing and producing music, Terrence has been the CEO of RayBoy Productions, LLC since 2006. A proud native of Bridgeport, Connecticut, his moniker, "RayBoy" pays homage to his father, L. Ray Nelson. He'll always be "Ray's Boy.”
