Yan Yu is a doctoral student in Voice Performance at Ohio State University. Her stage performances include roles in Le Nozze di Figaro, La Clemenza di Tito, Hansel and Gretel, and Ariodante. She has also performed in scenes from Die Zauberflöte, L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Die Fledermaus. Recently, Ms. Yu won first prize in the American Midwest Chamber and Vocal competition. She is a guest artist at Bologna International Opera Academy and the Pittsburgh Chinese Cultural Center. Ms. Yu is passionate about performing Chinese art songs and sharing the music with audiences worldwide.
