Yerin Lee, violin

Yerin Lee, an accomplished violinist, has distinguished herself as an exceptional musician through a series of prestigious awards and collaborations. Born with a passion for music, Yerin began her journey at an early age and honed her craft at Chungnam Arts High School, graduating in 2023.

Yerin’s remarkable talent has been recognized in numerous competitions. She was a Prize Winner in the 2023 Sound Espressivo Laureate Gala Audition, earned First Prize in The 4th Review Concurs in 2022, and Third Prize at the String Avenue Online International String Competition in 2021. Earlier in her career, Yerin won First Prize twice at the Chungnam Student Music Competition in 2017 and 2018.

Her dedication to her craft has been further enriched by studies and masterclasses with world-renowned musicians. In 2023, Yerin had the privilege of studying with Martin Funda, Professor at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, and Andrey Baranov, Professor at Folkwang Universität der Künst Essen. Previously, she worked with esteemed artists such as Tomo Keller (Concertmaster of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields) in 2022, Jacqueline Ross (Professor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama) in 2021, and Celia Waterhouse (1st Violin of the BBC Symphony Orchestra) in 2021.
